Mrs. Sliffe (rhymes with life) joined the SCA faculty in 2021. She began walking in her calling as a worship leader while a student in the worship ministry at Oral Roberts University. She was mentored by excellent leaders and musicians who encouraged her to use her gifts anywhere she found a need. Twenty-five years later, she comes to SCA with a broad musical and leadership experience in the local church, formerly serving on the staff at Lee's Summit Community Church, Christ United Methodist Church in Tulsa, and various temporary assignments in Tulsa-area churches as a consultant facilitating the addition and development of contemporary worship services in traditional congregations. She has mentored multiple student worship bands and vocalists, including at LSCC, and views her work with them, praise choirs, instrumentalists, and vocalists alike as an opportunity to "equip the saints for the work of ministry" (Ephesians 4:11-12).

Though Mrs. Sliffe has performed, toured, recorded, and started a music program at a Tulsa private school, she feels as strongly about her calling as a worship leader and mentor now as she did in 1996. She loves spending time with her family - husband Darrin and her three children Caleb, Aydra, and Camryn. She is an avid sports fan and enjoys working out and traveling.

  • Favorite Scripture
  • "His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence, by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love." 2 Peter 1:3-7
